The ruthless soldier of the heavens - Muriel!

Deviant Universe History:
Muriel has been refused a place in the High Heavens by the council leader; Imprevius, for countless years.
Imprevius and Muriel never got along ever since Muriel first entered the academy, they still feel hatred towards one another to this day.
In the last decades, Humanity has taken the responsibility of the Earth's protection to themselves and by doing so, left the Angels without any threats to face. The beings of light focused on the problems to their home world instead, leaving Earth to humanity.
Without purpose, the Council's leader, the Archangel of Truth, have had enough, he is declaring that humans are trying to "steal" the Angels place on Earth, and that they are now the enemies they must fight.
Muriel's mission is to avoid this eventuality, by all means necessary.
He desperately tries to unite humanity with angels, explaining why he helps them every way he can.

Muriel has been assigned as the guardian angel for Fionna Williams, also known as Loa.
He took Loa's health as his responsibility until she joined the team of heroes. However, when Fionna got severely injured by Deathwatch,
he has forsaken his trust towards the Thunder Force. He is taking care of Loa once more, by force if he needs to..

Abilities;

Massive durability:
Muriel takes a lot of time before he shows the slightest sign of fatigue, he is capable of fighting a small group of demons all by himself.
His armor can take incredible amounts of punishments before it starts to break. Muriel is a living tank, he can withstand insane amounts of physical damage.

Flight:
This Archangel's speed in the air is close to the speed of sound, becoming a deadly projectile to anything that is standing on his way.
His wings are made out of light and are not solid but allows the sky warrior to access his home world.

Duty's call:
Muriel inspires others to do what they are meant to do, giving out a special aura to his allies to push trough difficult battles. 
His very presence somehow passively affects the others to persevere.

Light's embrace:
By using the power of the light, Muriel can summon his weapon almost instantly. It will drop from the sky in a thunderbolt right beside Muriel or materialize directly in his hands.
If his weapon is severely damaged or broken, it can't be summoned.

Heart of gold
Muriel is immune to corruption and mind control,
his pure heart overcomes these obscure powers with the guidance of the Light, being free willed.

Weaknesses;

Warrior untill death:
As strong as Muriel is, he struggle in ranged combat.
He's also pretty reckless, often going straight into the battlefield without thinking twice.
Traps are an effective way to surprise him but an angel will usually fight until it's last breath.

All strenght, no tactics:
Physical damage is greatly reduced due to his armor but not mind attacks.
He may be immune to corruption, but he can be tricked in attacking the wrong targets, he can still be manipulated.

Dark magic/energy:
Dark energy or magic is very effective against Angels,
but this acts like a double-edged sword, the Light also counters the darkness.
